I have never been a runner who wins races. I have a lot of respect for those talented, hard working athletes who can win BUT there's a lot more recognition that needs to happen! I want to celebrate those who, regardless of ability to win, continue to train and race with gusto 😀
When you get a PR (personal record/personal best) it is quite an achievement!
A Happy Cat friend of mine designed an app for me to use for age group awards at the finish line (Called Trail Happy and available in the Apple app store). It works great, but I asked if a new feature could be added.
I want to recognize those who get a PR in one of my races from a previous year's time (race to race comparison, not lifetime best). This way, when you cross the finish line, I will know right away if it is a PR and you will get a special PR award! I have 4 different coasters, so you can collect all 4! 😊
At checkout when you register for one of my races, you will notice a question to input your previous best time. I can look this time up and do it manually if needed, but it would help me if you entered the time for me. You can click on your results and see all of your previous results listed in Ultrasignup.
